Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Riyadh Region, Shaqra University hosted today, Thursday, April 23, 2026, the conference titled "Integration of Artificial Intelligence and Medical Laboratory Analysis: New Horizons for Supporting Laboratory Diagnosis and Healthcare 2026." The event was attended by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Saif, along with the University's vice presidents, leaders, staff, and students at the University Campus in Shaqra Governorate.
The conference featured two panel discussions and two keynote lectures, with the participation of a number of experts and specialists in this field from both within and outside the university. The sessions addressed the conference's core themes, which included the integration between modern technologies and medical analysis, as well as reviewing local and international experiences and expertise in this domain. The conference aimed to highlight the latest practices and technologies in artificial intelligence and its role in developing medical laboratory analysis, thereby contributing to improving diagnostic quality and supporting the healthcare system.
