"The Department of Physics belongs to the College of Science and Humanities in Al-Dawadmi, which was established following the Royal Decree announcing the establishment of Shaqra University. The Royal Decree No. (7305/M B), dated 3/9/1430 AH, was issued as part of the Kingdom’s commitment—under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques—to advancing public and higher education.
It is worth noting that the college and the department were initially established in 1429 AH and were then operating under the umbrella of King Saud University before the establishment of Shaqra University.
