The Department of Basic Medical Sciences is a clinical academic department in the College of Medicine that focuses on teaching and developing the basic knowledge necessary to practice medical professions, and includes disciplines such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, and pharmacology.
