The Department of Arabic Language in Dawadmi was inaugurated at the College of Education in Dawadmi after its affiliation was transferred from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University to Shaqra University in 1431 AH.
On 18/1/1441 AH, the department was transferred to the College of Science and Humanities in Dawadmi by an executive decision issued as part of the implementation of resolutions approving the restructuring of some colleges at Shaqra University.
