"The Department of Business Administration has gone through two main phases in its history. It began in 1428 AH as a specialization affiliated with the Community College in Al-Dawadmi, according to the esteemed Cabinet Resolution No. 2921/B dated 12/4/1427 AH, based on the recommendation of the Economic Council, and at that time it was affiliated with King Saud University. With the issuance of the royal decree establishing Shaqra University in the holy month of Ramadan in 1431 AH, the college became affiliated with it.
The Business Administration program is distinguished as one of the majors that enables its graduates to work in various fields in both the public and private sectors. This explains the high demand for this specialization in the college since its establishment until today.
Graduates receive a Bachelor's degree from the department after completing 130 credit hours, which is approximately equivalent to four academic years (i.e., 16 credit hours per semester for eight semesters – without a summer semester.
